Tie clips

Most of the tie pins proposed today are no longer true pins (they are only used for plastrons), but with clips or clasps. You don't have to tighten your tie! However, if you like it, it's best to choose the thinnest and most classic pin possible.

Clip the clip, clip or buckle both ends of the tie together and pin them to the shirt in the section between the two buttons. This way, the narrow end no longer hangs loosely at the front, the tie will not move, and the buckle will have little movement on a slippery piece of cloth.

Complicated is the use of a tie tack, which is very common in the USA. It is a small "stick."” with a chain, at the end of which there is a clasp. "Stick” it doesn't look like a plastron pin, but more like a giant pushpin. Separate both parts of the tie tack and insert the "stick" through the buttonhole of the shirt. Button up your shirt, Drape both ends of the tie on top of each other and tighten them. At about the same height as the buttonhole used, slip the pin through the tie and insert it into the clasp, which hangs on a chain.

Real tie pins are worn roughly five centimeters below the knot (some tuck them into a knot, and in the case of a cross knot as a decorative element). Avoid using modern clips and tie tacks too high on your shirt; should be level with the top of the chest. If you are wearing a jacket, sweater or vest, you can opt out of tie buckles. Tie tacks leave the tie more room for movement than the clips. Wada: they pierce the material.

The buckle does not hold well on a slippery tie, and even more so in combination with the slippery fabric of the shirt, and always goes down the tie, even if you are not moving yourself, moved like a sorcerer's hand. You will notice it after looking at your interlocutor, thrust into your chest. First you need to fasten the buckle to the shirt well! If it keeps shifting, you can help yourself with a tie tack or a pin. However, tie pins, even in elegant versions, they can look pretentious. Even in the USA – where the tie tack is at home – there are as many of its critics, how many fans. So think carefully, do you have to (want) wear pins or tie clasps. It's not a bad thing to consciously make your tie more dynamic – you only need to periodically check the position of the collar in the cutout and, if necessary, return it to the correct place on the chest.

  1. However, untieing a tie after each use and tying it for the next occasion causes it, that how a man does not feel how to catch the correct length while tying, can lead to complete frustration, and also causes the development of the material.
